Ron Bankley took my meager attempt and added a pile of things to it. Thank you my brother my mom will love it. I don't have the lyrics quite right but this is how my dad sang it and my mom won't care. http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8393730 love Dan |

I'm kinda' glad you went back to the way your Dad sang it. Its what folk is about........I'm sorry for ever saying anything last time as I do believe in that.....the oral/aural tradition........and I like this version more than fine! Spaw |
25 Nov 09 - 02:36 PM (#2773593) Subject: RE: Wabash Cannon Ball - Ron Bankley and Dan From: olddude Spaw, I cherish your advice always my brother. I did this way cause I think my dad never really knew the lyrics so he made em up LOL .. this is what my mom would be use to hearing. My dad had a beautiful voice. Mine is a bit lacking to say the least but I think she will like it especially what my brother Ron did to it with all the neat instrumentation. Jean always thank you love Dan |
