08 Dec 09 - 04:01 PM (#2784040) Subject: Chord Req: Buckets of open tunings From: lefthanded guitar I've been having a great time playing Buckets of Rain for small venues and friends, giving it a sort of Missisppi John Hurt guitar treatment. But I'd like to play it in the open tuning that I believe Dylan wrote it in. I read that Open Tuning in E is: E B E G B E I've ALSO read that it's E B E G# B E Anyone know? Would I be playing it correctly in E?? Any suggestions are appreciated, I'm never great at doing exact transcriptions of songs. n this case, I'd like to mimic the exact chords, tho usually I don't mind doing my own musical 'interpretations' (People sometimes mistake this for creativity, and I am loathe to tell them otherwise) |
