Subject: Lyr Req: Help me remember this song

I'm trying to remember a song but can only remember snippets of it. Can anyone help me identify it. In the song a boy mistakenly get's drafted into the army, the girl begs her father to pay the gold to get him out of it. The father doesn't and the boy goes to war. In the third verse(I think) the girl is looking into the fire or is by the fire and cries. in the 4th verse she walks along the cliff above the sea and the coal seam.
Does this sound familiar to anyone out there? It's driving me crazy!

Sounds like "The Recruited Collier" - it is probably in the DT but search that title and you'll get the words.
