Dec. Shanty Session @ Press Room (NH)

The annual December shanty/forebitter/ballad/seasonal song session will be happening at the Press Room in Portsmouth NH this Saturday,19 December from 3:30 to 7:30 PM.

I still don't have a voice, but it will return, and for now I have a concertina and a thirst which can be slaked more than previously.

And for future reference, mark your calendars for the Barry Finn Memorial Session on the third Saturday in June. Since I am writing from the famed West End of Boston, I have not the werewithal to give you a specific date yet.

See you Saturday. Wassail - Tom

Looks like the Barry Finn Memorial Session will be June 19th then. Wonder if I might manage that one?

I am doing last minute Christmas things - yeah it came as a big surprise that Christmas is Dec 25. If I am done in time I will be down.

Sinsull et al-

There were survivors, other than us, I'm sure but we're buried by Christmas responsibilities, including finishing up someone else's CD.

There were about a dozen singers, including Justine, Peter and Joanne, Tom & Linn, Jeri, Marty, Mark, Chris, Jeff & Barbara, Deb Cowan, Judy and myself. Who did I miss?

Charley Noble

I've got notes from the entire session, though I missed one or two when I was paying for my chowder and filling Jeff Murdock in on what's going on with Tom's treatment.

No time to post now, but I'll add a complete list at some point.

Thanks, Charley!

Sounds like a great session. I wish I could be with you all again. I've got the third Saturday in June down in my calendar and hope to join you in singing for/with Barry's spirit.

Love and joy to you, and jolly wassail too!

I don't know if anyone has realized this is an addendum to a 2009 session. I'll be posting song lists for more antique threads over the next week or so.
