This Thread is great it fits in nicely with my thread entitled 2010 future events.
excellent well done growler I now have all the dates I need for 2010 + some I was unaware of. I am looking forward to some really great events in 2010.

I was walking down the road today and some idiot in a van lowered his window and threw a half eaten Mince Pie at me. it missed by miles but it was a idiotic thing to do to someone in regards to serious injury. Anyway has the idiot continued down the road he drove into a parked car.
I just went home and serves him right. Prick.

Oh no Pierre, the truly dangerous ones are British Railways' Steak and Kidney pies - ask DT - he's seen their friends on TV, chasing Dr Who. If he smoked I'd have some of what he smoked!

I am bringing a guest, known to most of you. I may not be bringing my voice, as this morning I started getting that I've swallowed a shard of glass feeling. TSO has had sore throat since Sunday.

Still looking forward even if I can't sing. Pity too... I have been practising my counting so I could prove to Richard that I can get through Children Go Where I Send Thee, without losing my way.

The weather does not look at all promising it is snowing here in London now and someone said something about 8inches of Snow by the morning?
If that is the case then from what I saw from my recent trip to Rochester after the last snow fall they get it twice has bad out there in darkest Kent then we do in South East.

If the trains are not running out early Saturday morning when I leave work for Rochester then I wont be coming.I do not wish to be stranded for days on end.

I have cancelled my B&B at Andy snacks.
If I get there it will be for the one day only and I will need a lift there and back and that seems unlikely.
I fear the railway network will cease to excist come the next Snow fall.
Sodding weather I was looking forward too two great days of great music wit and singing. "BOLLOCKS"

South Eastern Trains say don't use journey planner as there is an altered service in place.

Further check shows Medway Valley service altered to zero trains.

Can't rely on buses getting over Cuxton Hill, and the same applies to the car, and I'm not up to a two hour trudge through snow.

I'll not be able to get out of Snodland tomorrow unless the trains are running again, as there are NO buses on Sundays.

Bottom line is I'm not likely to make it.

Have a great Christmas, and I'll see you all in the New Year.

Don T.

I believe I can make it there OK, but the return journey looks set not to be available, so sense prevails. I'm going to take heed and not travel for I believe I might well get stuck in Rochester. The journey back to Maidstone takes me over the North Downs and I just don't want to risk it up there. Have a very merry Christmas and Wassail to you all.
