09 Jan 10 - 04:16 PM (#2807726) Subject: Soundclick link for Catters From: Jerry Rasmussen I'm having a lot of fun these days, setting up a blog and posting a music link. I'm wondering how many Catters are on soundclick.com. Here's my link: http://soundclick.com/jerryrasmussen If you have a music link, whether it's on soundclick or somewhere else, please post it on this thread so we can hear your music. Jerry I think I may have inadvertently made a link to my blog, too. Sorry about that. I'm not THAT great at computers... :-) |

It's a bit hard for me to listen to Gently Down the stream of time because two dear friends who were on that recording are now dead. And, of course, Ashes on the sea was written by my friend, Utah Phillips. |

10 Jan 10 - 05:39 AM (#2808081) Subject: RE: Soundclick link for Catters From: VirginiaTam I love the Burying Ground and Milwaukee- St Paul. Think I want to learn the Milwaukee, St. Paul song. Also love the guitar in that one. Wish I had the stuff... (equipment, know how and most importantly, chutzpah) to record my singing. |

10 Jan 10 - 04:27 PM (#2808545) Subject: RE: Soundclick link for Catters From: VirginiaTam Chutzpah - I mean I sometimes freeze in the vicinity of recording equipment. Getting better though. It is weird that it is easier to be recorded in a live performance situation than in a dedicated recording session. And that is just me, alone and all by myself, recording from PC mike. I get nerves and forget phrasing, words, melody. It's bad. Maybe I should get drunk first. |
