This song (#47 B) had been recorded in February 1935 at Wilton CT.

I cannot find the lyrics. I'm guessing that unless someone knows and posts the lyrics, your alternative would be to purchase the mp3 and learn it from that.

I'll make a stab at it later, but I gotta take a nap. I've had a long day of singing. It's almost impossible for me to understand it, so I imagine that Claude has it even worse since English is not his first language.
Can't find it in any songbooks, but it IS on one of the Library of Congress recordings.

This song comes from the album "Volume 2 1935 DOCD-5592" track 21
Released by "Document Record"
It is not the best LEADBELLY song and the sound reproduction is, by today's high fidelity-stereophonic standards, rather dim.
