The main categories not yet announced - the ceremony is on Feb 1 - but there are lifetime achievement awards for Nanci Griffith and Dick Gaughan. Wouldn't quarrel with either. This is one, I regret to say, that I missed because of absences from the UK in recent years. I can find out, but does anyone know know off top of head if DVDs are available? |

I'm especially pleased to hear Mike Alexander and Douglas Eadie are being honored. Douglas was extremely helpful when we were working on the Utah Phillips CD - a generous and friendly guy. And yes, the DVDs are now available - in the UK (said the Yank ruefully). Dan |
