20 Jan 10 - 02:23 PM (#2816875) Subject: Promote your music on student radio! From: ThomT Hey, I've got a radio show on Wired, the Goldsmiths student radio station. It's called 'Sloe on the Uptake' and is dedicated to folk and traditional music. I wondered if anyone here had any CDs or mp3s that they would like me to play and promote. The show gets a fair amount of listeners and is available on the internet via Wired Radio. If you would like me to play your music then email thomtew@aol.com. Thanks, Thom |

20 Jan 10 - 08:17 PM (#2817199) Subject: RE: Promote your music on student radio! From: ThomT Well, I guess I'll mostly be playing things from the British folk scene (mostly spanning from the 50s/60s to today), because that's what I know, but anything is welcome. I'll consider and listen to everything that is sent to me and if I like it I'll play it. |
20 Jan 10 - 08:27 PM (#2817206) Subject: RE: Promote your music on student radio! From: ThomT I can't stress enough that I'm up for playing anything that is sent to me! The only reason I said British folk is because that where I'm most familiar, but I'm not one to discriminate musical styles, so literally anything will be considered. |

This was captured via an i-pod recording at the Seattle Folklore Society's annual Rainy Camp weekend getaway. There were some wonderful harmonies being shared with me on this one from those in the audience. |
