It had a very simple minor tune, and the only lyrics I remember was from the chorus: Muddy river, your muddy water, took my baby's life. (Or words to that effect.) |

I remember it well. I just can't find his version anywhere. Back then it was hard to get your song on the airways unless you were already known and Pat Boone was that well known singer who got the air play. |
