For some reason, I couldn't find their page. Can you copy and paste so we can preserve it here, or would they not like that?

Thanks,

kat

I've know a few great people in y life and Sandy Paton is at the top of the list. He was my friend, mentor and one of the most interesting, intelligent people I've ever known.I will always be grateful that he recorded me.

Agreed, Kendall. I always hoped that were I fortunate enough to record an album Sandy and Caroline would be the ones to do it. They have made some beautiful albums over the years, including yours.

Thomas,

Here's the quote:
"Today was the birthday of a great friend of the AFC Archive, Charles Alexander "Sandy" Paton. Sandy was a singer and guitarist, a leader in the American folk revival movement, and the founder of Folk-Legacy records. Sandy passed away on July 27, 2009. Our thoughts are with Sandy's wife Caroline and all the people who were influenced by him over the years."
