Just saw this, Skarpi.

I do not understand how the ABC system of music works. If you know someone who does, show them the thread and they should be able to help.

The song is on YOUTUBE, but I haven't been able to find what I call normal notation such as is found on music sheets. Sorry I can't help further.

Paste your ABC into concertina.net's tune-o-tron and you will get the staff notation.

I don't know how it is for other people, but when I click on Stewart's link, I get a blank.

So, Skarpi (and anybody else who wants to learn), try this.

First, find the Tune-o-tron, which converts ABC to sheet music, and add it to your Favorites list. Here's a link:

Tune-o-tron

Next, highlight this ABC file. Start at the X and stop at the last bar. Then press Ctrl+cC to copy it.

Then go back to the Tune-o-tron, press Ctrl+v to put the ABC in the box, press Submit, and voila, the sticks and dots appear.

I just tried it, and it worked.

I agree with you that it's a great tune. I have been playing it on the piano rather than working on my tax return.

I'm sorry, I don't know what the problem is.
It works for me on two different computers.

But then you can always convert the abc file above
to a score using tune-0-tron.
