I am a librarian and one of my students requested it to use with a project on the Civil Rights Movement. THANKS! |

"Old Black Joe" is, of course, the first that comes to mind. Then, of course, there is the race-neutral version, "Old Jack Blow". Oscar Brand's "A Guy is a Guy" (which IS from the 1950's) manages to be sexist without being offensive. |
