Salt Town Promotions are presenting Manchester singer-songwriter and comedian Dom Collins live at The Boar's Head in Middlewich on Friday 19th February, starting at 8pm.
There will be no admission charge, but we'll be making a collection for Dom's expenses.
This will be a Salt Town Poets 15th Anniversary Event. Everyone welcome

Thanks Josher. He is indeed. And on the previous Wednesday night (17th) at the same venue (in exactly the same spot with exactly the same PA system, in fact) it's 'Middlewich Open Mic/Poems & Pints', now in its fifteenth thrilling year!
Is there no end to the delights of old Middlewich town?

Anyone heard anything about the Folk and Boat Festival? Are the flyers out.

No, I haven't heard a thing as yet. Which is odd, because this year is the festival's 20th anniversary.

Lizzie,

I'm sure Dom will do the 'Middlewich Song' for you.

Here's a link to the MFAB site, which seems to me to be due for an update.

Oh Dear does seem a bit tired doesn't it? Most festivals have their line ups sorted by now.

I've started a new thread on Middlewich 2010, to see if I can gather any information.
So far I have found out that at least one member of the organising committee 'hasn't a clue' as to the line-up.

Meanwhile, back on topic, this takes place tomorrow night. We advise being there early to secure a seat.
If you haven't seen Dom before, he's well worth making the effort to come along. A natural comedian with some quirky and very original songs.

It's tonight. And the word on the street is that half the population of Middlewich are coming.

Is good.

As promised, an excellent evening of top class comedy.
Many thanks to Dom, and to all who braved the snow to come along.
