If trades continue as before it will shift the tax burden onto the vampires (and their castles the banks) who currently feed off the system and the people. If trades drop it will reduce the speculation that has contributed to damaging volatility. Re-introducing exchange control would be good too. And general restrictions on the freedom of movement of capital. The flight of manufacture and services to low-tax and low-cost jurisdictions enables evasion of proper obligations. |
