Lovely!

Sadly, despite being a born and bred Quebecer this is the first I heard of Estelle - two solitudes indeed.

actually we divorced around 20 yrs ago... but are still friends... call it artistic differences... she retired a few years back, and lives in the Quebec mountains.. tho she did some vocals on a recording with Audrey a few months ago... she's one of the best singers I've ever worked with... I'm not alone in that opinion...|Leonard Cohen asked her to join his band years ago but she turned him down... I could go on with lots of stories but that'll keep for another time...
glad you like the song.... " I love you' in all those different languages... worked for me... R

Hi Ron!

Wow, it has been so many years since I spoke with you. Watching you with Audrey is amazing...the two of you makingfantastic music----
and you must be so proud of her!

I am trying to track down Cat after all these years. She has been trying to reach me without success. Perle Feldman has asked about you and about Cat too. Please write back if you can at my address: mary_bourdon46@yahoo.com. Great to see you and know you are doing so much creative stuff!

Look forward to hearing from you.
Mary

More greetings from the past. I've been looking for Estelle for decades! I came over to England in 78 on assignment photographing punk and ska and such and got stuck. Now I'm coming back to Montreal to open a gallery. So I'm catching up on line.
And lo and behold I found a connection of Estelle to Ville-Emard Blues Band. (I don't remember that from the '70s.) Then I came upon you and I knew that face! It was you and Cat who lived in the courtyard behind me on St. Urbain. Y'all had a baby and taught me to put a dollop of Brandy in coffee. Just perfect....
I hoped you might know where Estelle was and then I found that you and Estelle were married and still friends! Will wonders never cease.
I'd love to see each and every one of you once I'm back in Canada.
I'm on FB if you do that. Or Give me a phone number and I'll call.
Big hugs all around. Thanks for the memories. Tell Estelle I still travel with her going away gift a Swiss Army knife. Came in handy!!!
Big Hugs Gervaise
