When performing at clubs, restaurants, etc I have often found that there are people who believe that you Must know songs by the only other person they've heard of that plays a "box" (acoustic) guitar, and very often that person is Jimmy Buffett. I got self-conscious about turning them down completely (and they would often get angry - "You must know that song! Why won't you play it for me?" - so I occasionally write a song like this. It has never been badly received. As I promised Rick in another thread: COCONUTS FOR BRAINS, from Buffett's new album, not even out in the stores yet. And I have nothing against the Buffett, just never cared to learn his songs, and got tired of so many requests for them. So with this one, everybody goes home happy.
