Umm, what is the 17th traditional and recently released? Surely the traditional songs have been done and done again by any amount of artists? Why the emphasis on 'this years' trad. release? I'm asking as someone who doesn't necessarily recognise the particulars of popular American-Irish music, which is what I presume you must be refering to as opposed to traditional Irish music? Or am I wrong? |

This year what track would you play on March 17- a recording issued this year. Traditional Irish not necessairly american irish but may be by an american group or artist. |

Agreeing with them is not necessary just toleration. The term plastic paddy is widely used and is not really a put down. It referrs to the generic green beer music that comes out at st patricks days and is enjoyed by once a year Irish for the day. It is a set of music that has merit as with any other it just has been given that name. Conrad |
