I'm looking at the poster that is advertising his appearance at Allambie Heights, a fair slog from my place, but accessible.

So too are Sutherland, Illawarra, Newcastle & Woy Woy, but I dunno if I'll get to all of his "local" performances

After seeing Les at Warwick FF a few years ago he is certainly at the top of my "must see" performers list at the Nationals. It's a pity he's not coming to Brisbane.

Woudn't miss him for quids, Vectis, I'll be seeing him at Allambie Heights, the National & maybe even Illawarra!

I hope he manages to bring a summer cardie - he was nearly dying from the heat last time he was in Sydney cos he was wearing his English-winter-weight cardi!

Tell him you know Liz the Squeak and he'll run screaming from the building... :D

Seriously, his funny stuff is fantastic, but his serious poetry is amazing. If he performs any of that, listen hard, because some of it is sublime and should have got him many awards by now.

Saw the thread title...

And I was wondering how he would get along with Cowardly lions, Tin men and scarecrows as he no longer has a little dog to protect him...

I'll get my ruby slippers!

Quack!
