03 Mar 10 - 08:01 AM (#2854853) Subject: Shameless Promotion: Oh Boy, Danny From: jeffp Back about 9 years ago, my friend Peter Benson and I wrote a parody of Danny Boy and I posted it on Aine's Mudcat Songbook. Four or five years later, a Canadian duo called Brown Ale discovered it and started performing it. They are now recording it and posted a YouTube video to promote it. They asked me to announce it on Mudcat for them. I want to thank Max for hosting this place and Aine for hosting the songbood, both of which enabled a couple of songwriters in Maryland to be discovered in Toronto. It's an amazing world.
