If you think about it it has all the attributes: 1. It is fiecely competitive 2. Physically demanding 3. Recognised and played all over the world 4. Associated with preformance enhancing substances 5. Lots of other things i trust those on Mudcat with influence in these matters will use it .......... erm ........ as appropriate L in C with a TB |

In the hands of a great artist, it is an expressive musical instrument not necessarily given to pyrotechnics. I know of two considerable artists who have made this instrument sing well. The equation with an Olympic Sport is truly insulting and shows ignorance. |

You have to be seriously fit to carry one of those things at all, let alone upstairs, at speed. |
