04 Aug 99 - 11:57 AM (#102269) Subject: Incommunicado Thread From: Vixen D'Cats-- I thought it might be informative to have a thread where people could let d'cat know that they would be absent for awhile. If it's a dopey idea, the thread will die quickly, I'm sure. But I'm sure many of us have vacation plans, and may not be able to cat around while we're vacating (others, I'm sure, will cat around even more while on vacation!) Anyway, to avoid worry and or confusion, I will be off line until 23 August. I'm not going away mad, insulted, offended, or (as in Catspaw's case) in an ambulance. I shall return (that's a promise, not a threat!) [I hope] V

04 Aug 99 - 12:04 PM (#102275) Subject: RE: Incommunicado Thread From: JR I hate to ask, but where the heck is communicado, & is it a good place to vacation? |
04 Aug 99 - 12:05 PM (#102276) Subject: RE: Incommunicado Thread From: Legal Eagle Yes, a good idea. I'm just back from a 24-hour a day case I conducted brilliantly for a very unappreciative client (who was American), and I did wonder if anyone thought I might have taken umbrage and skulked off. |
04 Aug 99 - 12:09 PM (#102277) Subject: RE: Incommunicado Thread From: Tony Burns I thought Vixen had taken the umbrage to Communicado. |
04 Aug 99 - 12:15 PM (#102278) Subject: RE: Incommunicado Thread From: catspaw49 She's also taking Worry and Confusion ....... I mean it is Vixen. Spaw |
04 Aug 99 - 12:28 PM (#102279) Subject: RE: Incommunicado Thread From: MMario Communicado is lovely this time of year; I myself was InCommunicado for the past four days. Have spent most of the morning trying to catch up! MMario |
04 Aug 99 - 12:42 PM (#102283) Subject: RE: Incommunicado Thread From: Vixen Actually, I'm AVOIDING Worry and Confusion. I have NO PLANS to take them with me. I'm not taking Umbrage, either. If you see them, tell them I'm in Communicado, so they'll go there and won't find me. I know it's lovely this time of year, but I have other places to go to. (No, mine enemies, and friends of mine enemies, Hell is not on the Itinerary) (no offense to Wolfgang!) V

04 Aug 99 - 01:00 PM (#102291) Subject: RE: Incommunicado Thread From: catspaw49 We seem to have a lot of communicado on this incommunicado thread. At this rate, we'll reach 100 soon and be unable to load this sucker in less than an hour, defeating the purpose. True vintage and essential Mudcat!!! Notice also how we went immediately to Thread Creep? (That's about 50 miles west of Incommunicado) Spaw...looking forward to "Incommunicado, Part II" |
04 Aug 99 - 01:05 PM (#102292) Subject: RE: Incommunicado Thread From: Allan C. "Lovely this time of year" must be a comparative thing. I was told that Communicado is near the islands of Victus, Sensible, and Conclusive which are somewhere off the coast of Tierra del Fuego. |
04 Aug 99 - 01:18 PM (#102295) Subject: RE: Incommunicado Thread From: MMario Must be a different Communicado. I think I may have once been inConclusive, but I'm not really sure. MMario |
