Ken Wood organises occasional Sunday night gigs of which the Cockersdale evening was going to be the next. I don't know the full details regarding the cancellation but my understanding is that the pub is planning to refurbish later this year and the cancellation of this gig is supposed to be inrelation to that. Unfortunately Ken was told just after Tykes News had gone to press. Not sure if Ken is a Mudcat regular but if he is I am sure he will add further coment. For details of the Friday night acoustic nights follow the link below - be good to see anyone who can make it up there as we are having some great artists over next few weeks. |
