- The Titles file peters out at "Twelve...". Any title beginning with U,V,W,X.. is not there. The previous database of Titles had the same problem. Am I doing something wrong.
- As per the old expression "It's never as big as you think it is", there about 300 duplicates of file names. I can provide a list if desired. Is this peculiar to me?
In addition many of the tunes posted after August ? of last year still don't appear. I know that there's a lot of work involved in actually getting these tunes into the DT, so please don't view this as a complaint. Alison and I are starting to trip ourselves up somewhat in adding tunes that have already been posted to the Forum. Is anyone able to extract these titles from the Forum? I have tried to do this using some of the unique text which accompanies Alan's Miditext output, but the Forum Text Search won't let me do it without bombing out. I have previously provided Alison with a Windows file which clearly differentiates the tunes with/without tunes in a single sortable list.
Once I get a new list generated which includes the missing data I will gladly provide it on request. It's a really easy way to scan the DT if you think you may have lyrics (but particularly tunes) to submit to the Forum. It's about 250k so is very easily emailed.
