12 Mar 10 - 07:51 AM (#2862522) Subject: St. Patrick's Day gig in Chatham From: melodeonboy Atlantic Currants will be performing their blend of Americana, Celtic and English folk at The Jolly Porters in Dickens' World in Chatham Maritime on Wednesday, 17th. March. Part of the evening will be set aside as an open mic session. If you wish to perform, please bring along your voice and/or instrument(s) (you will not be allowed to use the band's instruments!). A number of people have already expressed interest in performing, but more are welcome, and everyone who's interested in performing will get a spot. Being St. Patrick's night, Irish songs will, of course, be particularly welcome! Proceedings start at 7.30. |

I can get there fine but no buses or trains back, except one bus which turns around at the tiny village of Halling, but can't be arsed to make the extra two miles to the medium sized town of Snodland. I'm afraid my knackered knee just won't make a two mile walk. Go Figure! Don T. |
