I just wanted to make all at Mudcat aware of the concert taking place on April 24th at the Tarrytown Music Hall in Westchester, NY. The full lineup The Klezmatics, Pete Seeger, Fred Hellerman, Work o' the Weavers, Rob Tepper (performing an excerpt from his one-man Woody Guthrie show) and Teresa Tova, a Yiddish songstress. Nora Guthrie will be on hand to speak, and it will be hosted by Robert Sherman of WFUV Radio. All profits will benefit the Woody Guthrie Archives in New York City and the Woody Guthrie boat in Beacon. Tickets are available at tarrytownmusichall.org or through Ticketforce by calling 877-840-0457.

On this side of the pond, we'll just have to put up with Will Kaufman's "Hard Times & Hard Travelling" show all about the Guthrie legacy - he's performing it at the George Hotel in South Molton, Devon, England on Saturday!

Yippee!
