06 Aug 99 - 12:15 PM (#102824) Subject: Names of Italian & Spanish "Danny Boy" Soundalikes From: cecastil@cisco.com Folks, I recall seeing some kind of reference to various songs around the world that carry the same tune and/or context/meaning as "Danny Boy". I'm interested in the closest Italian or Spanish (Latin American) sound-alikes to this song for a family heritage project I'm working on. There is a Mexican song entitled "Las Colondrinas" which carries a similar tune and same sentiment as "Danny Boy".
