Chord Req: Babethandaza

"Babethandaza" is a South African folk song, sung in IsiZulu (?), and has been popularised by Sweet Honey In The Rock.

Does anyone know the chording for guitar accompaniment?

Thanks

It's meant to be a cappella, I'm quite certain. My group has done it several times, and we're doing it again this spring!

But I'll give it a go (It's really just I IV V, and the key doesn't matter. We do it in D):
D                         A    D
Sin nje nje nje, n-ge-mi tan-da-zo (2X).
       G                  A    D
N-ge-mi tan-de-zo, N-ge-mi tan-de-zo,(2X).
D                           A      D
Oh ma-ma ba-gu-da-la ba-be-than-da-za (2X).
D      G          A    D
Ba-be-than-da-za, Ba-be-than-da-za (2X)
("Things are as they are because of prayer. Our Mothers, women of old, always pray")
