Starting out in 2008 they took the festival scene by storm in 2009 with their own brand of Folk/Punk, culminating in their being nominated for "Best Live Act" in the BBC 2 Awards. Katriona Gilmore & Jamie Roberts
Kat (ex Tiny Tin Lady, still with Rosie Doonan Band and GMO) and Jamie (also in Kerfuffle) need very little introduction after their appearance here at last year's festival. This hard working couple released their album "Shadows and Half Light" to rave reviews, and "wow" audiences wherever they appear. Don't be surprised to see Kat in one of her other musical guises during the festival.

I'm with 'theleveller' on that one - I still haven't cone down yet either!
HUGE thanks to Leila and all her wonderful staff - particularly Barbara and co, that slaved
all w/e in that hot kitchen feeding artists, crew, stewards et al - (and we sure ate all!) twas a magnificent effort
by those good ladies that even 'cooked themselves' in there!!!
Thanks too, to Brewery owner Tom (and family) for having this fest amidst their wonderful set-up,
high on the hill - and to all the brewery staff - they worked their socks off too. Cheers Tom - you're a star!
The weather was just brilliant too!!
But Leila - it's all down to your hard work - thabnks for pulling it all together - love ya!
Big raps to all the artists, sound-crew - and all - we had a ball amongst you good people...
Lastly - what a crowd!
Hats-off to that audience last night - The whole barn danced and moved and sang as one.
It was truly a magnificent sight for us as we whacked through our set - what a crowd!
Thank you, one and all!
Yours - knackered, but high - Duncan McFarlane - on behalf of all his crew.

Wow..

I totally am lost for words now.. and also lost my voice! Thank you for your such kind words Dunc.. they really mean alot!.. they really do!!!!

I knew last year was going to take some beating.. but to my amazement.. it was even better.. I really didnt think it was going to be possible! :-)

Fab people happy from start to finish, top notch beers, all my favourite artists, a buzzing campsite full of flags blowing in the slight breeze against the blue skies, face painted children loving being part of the festival.. all these things have made me the happiest girl on the Wolds!

Not to mention the top quality acts one after the other.. the Bad Shepherds kick started the festival and set the barn rocking! and The Duncan McFarlane Band closed the festival and blew the roof right off... it really was one of those gigs! it cannot be put into words!

See you next Year!

Ps.. a day nicely finished off with tickets for next year selling non stop today!

Saw some Facebook comments and saw the bit on TV last night, shame they didn't put you on screen, we all know what Mr E looks like, and he loves festivals... but YOU ORGANISED this one and should have been seen too. Sorry I didn't get a leave pass for the weekend. What date have you set for next year??
