Anybody know how Sandy & Caroline are?

Haven't seen Sandy Paton post recently, so was just wondering is anyone else has seen them or heard from them. Probably Folk Legacy's busiest time of year, huh?

Thanks,

katlaughing

Oops! Hi, Sandy. Duh.....I just did a Forum search and see you've been on, just in different threads than I've frequented, lately:-)

So, anyway, HOW ARE YOU????

Love ya,

kat

Kat, we saw them just recently at bbc's gathering. They were wonderful. Sandy just blew me away with his knowledge and talent. Caroline's voice was in beauty. Anything we asked they knew. I love them both so much! They were fine. They're workin'.

How is MUDSTOCK99 going? We want to interrelate with you guys and make it one if we can. Music..

Okay, as far as I know, annap. I don't think there will be more than 15 of us or so, but the gathering itself should have a lot of people, according to LeeJ's original posting on it.

I am excited and I know bet is. We are really looking forward to and esp. getting to meet Alice and hearing her sing.

I don't know if Rog is still going to be able to try to do a live link, but we will definitely take the cameras, digital and 35mm and get some pix off to bbc asap.

Thanks for catching me up on the Patons. Can't wait to wrap my arms around them someday.

Sorry, Katlaughing, m'luv:
We've been on the road a bit, gigging in Illinois (where we had dinner with Art THieme and Carol), Indiana, and Michigan (where we dined with Big Mick on our way to the Ark). Since then, we've been swamped with festivals every weekend. The gigs were more like "giggles" (small), but we enjoyed them.
The party at bbc's was a delightful respite for us. How nice it is to sing with friends and just for fun! Now we are looking forward to the greatest Getaway in DC history -- Mudcatters galore! Splurge a bit, and come east for it! Visit your grand-twins and us, too. Now to answer your question: we're fine.        Sandy

In answer to your question, kat--I think they're *great*!!! We had the most wonderful time together last weekend. It really was mellow, relaxing fun. Sandy & Caroline are the finest kind of folks! Hope you can meet them soon. They make the world a richer place.

Ah, Sandy, darlin'.....if only I had something to splurge with! Freelance writing pays less, sometimes it seems, than folksinging:-)

Though we are looking at a reduction of our output pretty soon, so....maybe I can save up for a trip next Spring. We'll see.

BTW, no need to apologise. I knew you'd been to Art's etc., and figured you were probably just swamped, BUT I do likes ta hear from once in awhile ya know?:-)

Love ya and tks bbc!
