08 Aug 99 - 12:54 AM (#103103) Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Rathlin Island From: Dale Rose Using Max's handy new three year search in the Filter/Age box, I found a thread from 97, using just the term, rathlin. It did't seem to add much to the discussion, though. The body search part of the Enhanced Search seems to still not be working, or we could find it. |

09 Aug 99 - 07:12 PM (#103493) Subject: Lyr Add: RATHLIN ISLAND BOAT SONG From: SingsIrish Songs Here's what I transcribed from the version by Barley Bree. However, there are a couple words I just can't make out (in brackets below). The first word I haven't a clue--sounds like "glassen" but that's not a word in my dictionary...the other I decided could be "gales" but Barley Bree makes it sound more like "gallets"... If anyone knows the particular words (or any other corrections for that matter), please, please, please post them... SingsIrish Songs -------------------------
