just thought I would let everyone know Bankley has arrived in Ky safely and we have been having a blast hanging out. We started planning out the next CD last night. Right now we are planning on starting to record it next week. Everything is going great and having a great time.

I just received my copy of Thunder Thieves in the mail today but haven't listened yet. I am looking forward to savouring it like a fine wine - hmmm, maybe I will savour it with a fine wine - dang, all I have is homemade plonk - oh well, I'm sure the music will enhance the wine.

JT's supposed to get me some 'shine'.. maybe I'll make it back north..
An old friend of Bruce's is coming up from Nashville tomorrow for a couple of days. Tom. They go back to the Village days. He told me that he's a gourmet chef as well as musician/writer. I'm liking him better already... I'll be off the net next week.. no service out on the Green River.. but I heard there's the occasional UFO

Get into the 'shine' and you'll be seeing the occupants of those UFOs.

"Staring out at the moonshine stars when a big 'un started to strobe
Here comes a gang of aliens and they're all packin' probes"
okay time to go, I got UFObia...

btw I just wrote the bridge to your song....

"It don't happen often that a bride wears a coffin
softened vows are met with silence on a wedding day
When she was lowered down into that lonesome ground
Above her wooden gown her lover stood six feet away"

it's kind of a Hillbilly Romeo and Juliet thang... see you later

went to Mose Rager appreciation day in Drakesboro earlier. I haven't seen that many Gretsch and archtop Gibson axes all in the same place ever... JT played a few songs. Yandell was there. Small community center/firehall...

Ghent is a blast.Feel like I've known him for years.. So many stories. We got to work on a song later out on the porch while JT went to gig in Paducah.. Long Live Kentucky Music and friends everywhere... more later
