Is it my imagination or have there been an unusually large amount of earthquakes in the last few months?

I wish she'd stop through her plates around. Yellowstone's too close for comfort.

I check the USGS world wide earthquake web site every day. I live near Yellowstone, so I also check to see if there is activity there. Sometimes there are swarms of small earthquakes in Yellowstone.

Geologists say we are only noticing the big ones in the news because they have been close to population areas. Statistically, there is not an increase in earthquake activity overall.

So, Alice, Does that mean that they are out to get us?

earthquakes ..all around us all day long ..
and few volcanos not from that is already blowin...Mountain Hekla
is rising and ready to blow , Katla is rising and ready to blow ,
Askja is rising and ready to blow , Vatnjökull ( the biggest
glacier in Iceland is ready to blow ...now I don´t know about LAKI
and then we have volcanos only 30 40 km away from the capital that we don´t know what will do . we have one fault that will give us earthquake
larger than 7,0 on the scale ..has not come yet but will do .
so mother earth is in changing time at the moment .

Iceland seems to be like having loads of carbuncles on your nose waiting to pop.
Seems pretty dangerous at the moment there Skarpi.
