I live near Yellowstone, so I also check to see if there is activity there. Sometimes there are swarms of small earthquakes in Yellowstone. Geologists say we are only noticing the big ones in the news because they have been close to population areas. Statistically, there is not an increase in earthquake activity overall. Alice |

15 Apr 10 - 12:05 PM (#2887281) Subject: RE: BS: Earthquakes From: skarpi earthquakes ..all around us all day long .. and few volcanos not from that is already blowin...Mountain Hekla is rising and ready to blow , Katla is rising and ready to blow , Askja is rising and ready to blow , Vatnjökull ( the biggest glacier in Iceland is ready to blow ...now I don´t know about LAKI and then we have volcanos only 30 40 km away from the capital that we don´t know what will do . we have one fault that will give us earthquake larger than 7,0 on the scale ..has not come yet but will do . so mother earth is in changing time at the moment . kv Skarpi |
