20 Apr 10 - 02:39 PM (#2890758) Subject: Shantey singers for Waretown, NJ From: TonyA I met the mayor of Ocean Township last week (on the front porch of Albert Music Hall), and he told me he's looking for people to sing/play at the Founder's Day celebration in Waretown this summer, especially if they can sing Sea Shanteys or other tarry fare in honor of the town's maritime past. Anyone interested should call the township offices and speak to the mayor. |
