24 Apr 10 - 07:40 PM (#2893702) Subject: RE: Lyr Req: mg From: Jim Dixon Here's the choir's web site: Shantykoor "De Ollerommer Vlintboksems". They are based in Ulrum. Shantykoor=Shanty Choir. "Ollerommer Vlintboksems" seems to be a phrase in the local dialect: "Our name is derived from a term of abuse for the people of Ulrum." "We sing in Dutch, English and German but also in our beloved dialect: the Groningen." I couldn't identify the song in the video. |
