The Two For Joy tour features The Long Notes and Plaster of Paris. The Manchester date will be opened by the city's very own fiddle and harp duo, Twelfth Day. (If you haven't heard them, do take a listen - they're releasing their debut album in June: http://www.twelfthdaymusic.com/) The Manchester date is promoted by For Folk's Sake, a monthly night in the city centre. For more info, please visit http://www.forfolkssake.org.uk/ or buy tickets from http://www.contact-theatre.org/whats-on/events/639/the-magpies-nestnew-folk-old-folk--no-folk-tour.htm Hope that wasn't too long and indulgent! :-) |

Sounds like a concert to me. Unless they're going to bring all of the punters from the Magpies nest to do a sing around before the concert bit? |
