(Survivors' Tips) From: wysiwyg From several years' PMs, I know the Cardiac Club around here is bigger than we would like, except that AFAIK (from the limited numbers I know), the members are still kicking. Now I'm a member. Any who care to share the BEST things that got them back on the upswing? Diagnoses only if desired.... I'll start: 1. It takes longer if you don't start. 2. Aquatics done VERTICALLY do the heart (and esp. BP) MUCH more good than swimming/being horizontal in the water, plus hold heart rates down to "reasonable" while still giving a training effect. ~Susan |

(Survivors' Tips) From: beardedbruce I found it important to look at things and determine what I could affect, and what would remain the same regardless of my actions- and ignore the latter. I had only so much energy to deal with things, and have to choose what I will "spend" it on. Bruce 3 angioplasties 9 stents (in three sets) ICD |
