CHORUS:
Oh, carry him home to me,
It's late in the year,

Can you post a tune for folks like me who don't remember them in one hearing? I remember it was beautiful, and that the chorus didn't resolve, but that's not enough to sing it... Blessings, Barbara |

I am not 100% sure how accurate it is... it was a bit distorted and in the chorus there was a harmony going which I had to try to work around... hope I got most of it right though.... Slainte alison

While there are many who will quibble over a note, I'm happy if I can get even an inkling of the tune. By the time I get through with singing one, it rarely resembles the original anyway, so a rough approximation is allright. As John in Brisbane said sometime last night, the contirbutions of many to this forum and databse are great, but I believe you stand out amongst them! MMario |
