I went to the PBS search site and typed in "You are the wolrd" and came up with over 37,000 possibilities! There a strong possibility that someone on here will know it, but it would help also to know if it was by a solo voice, band, if so what kind, what type of song it sounded like, i.e. pop, folk, jazz, etc. There is also a music site, I'll go look for it, which is set up just so people can purchase music they hear on NPR, so I would assume PBS must have something similar.
