Buskers in Hull (with amps!) Youtube

This just in.... Buskers have been seen in Hull playing English folk music whilst using amplification, the horror! The mayhem! Its Anarchy I tell you! The Battle scenes with the street sweepermobiles are bloody and gruesome, not for the fainthearted or the shrinking violet!

Keep the pan pipers at bay I say

About time we fought back.

Who are they please ? Any clues? Are they English even?

Didnt care much for the vocals

good sound balance

Costume sense is rather poor

My sources tell me they are part of a larger band of miscreants, misfits, tramps, tinkers, waifs and strays called Shiznitz! Unfortunately they are all English, and to make matters worse Yorkshire men, which would explain the poor costumes and the lack of much to say.

I've seen some band members lurk around the fringes of folk sessions 'ere in Sunny 'ull. Seems like they've escaped into the wildness of the town centre bringing it some English Culture, albeit mic'd up - can these Yorkshire Northerners take it?

(How much coinage was made? - we can truely see the worth in your cause to enlight the populas here by the money made) ;)

We're saving up for clogs.

Busking is a great lark. It is possible to make it pay, though not consistently. Still, being out and about also gets you gigs ;-)

I love it. Shame there is so much beaurocracy surrounding it in many parts of the country.

It makes being a travelling busker very difficult. We were kicked out of Kirklees recently, not before we busked outside the Last of the Summer Wine cafe though, and on the very day the BBC announced we had seen the last of the last of the summer wine!

Reclaiming the streets from the corporate dominance of our public space is no bad thing either. I'd like to see much more street culture.

Hull is quite a good place to busk. So is Beverley.

Allez oops!

That is not advice, its a challenge and do go and play wherever you find those pan pipers, They usually play in Bm, just join in.They'll love it.

Result from last Sunday's encounter: breezy 1 pan pipers 0

I have never seen pan pipers breezy. Are you sure they are not a figment of your imagination? Which sainsbury's do they frequent? I've seen the seven dwarfs in the one on Princes Ave, but they didn't seem to have any pipes with them at the time.

they should come to Englands call in the hour of need, that Jim Eldon, looks like he might be a creative midfield player, the other one [reminds me of a moving statue]should be used to inhibit the refs movements.

no figments, believe me you dont want em around your area. They were on Sidmouth sea front last week end and ina city in Herts plus numerous other places no doubt

I cant understand Capello, nor Gerrard so I'm damn sure they cant understand each other.

Problem solved, bring in Phil Brown , he's free, and cheaper too.

kick out the foreigners from our premier league, so we can nuture our home grown players
