Congrats are in order. And a collective sigh on the part of a great majority of womenhood who have felt there was a chance, however small, that they would be standing on the altar next to the swashbuckling folk singer.

lol yes Harrison WAS a folksinger in college, and a friend of the Everly Brothers to boot. CAN'T not like the man.

From carpenter to superstar and he always seemed to be just a regular guy... a likeable guy. Quite comical too.

Is this Flockhart he married? They've been an item for years. I wonder that it gets a thread though, it's kind of a non-story.

About time too!

"Ally McBeal's Adventures with Jack Ryan".... what a film that would make! Calista Flockhart is really talented too. Can't wait for their first film together.

Happy for both of them. I love watching Ally McBeal (the whole series) and all of Harrison's films

May not be that newsworty but, as it has made a thread, I add my good wishes.

Did he marry a man or a woman? I've heard of Calista Flockhart, but I thought it was an anagram, sort of like a Colonial in-joke that us English chaps weren't privy to.

I was at acting school with Calista. She's a really lovely, genuine, talented woman. I haven't seen her in years, but I'm chuffed to bits for her.

"It's time to get the Flock out of here" said the poacher who killed the sheep for their hearts.

There is a certain amount of discussion here on whether or not the governor of our fair (and arid) state has the legal authority to perform marriages.

Just hope Harrison doesn't get cut on any of the bony edges.

I don't know either of them, but I wish them happiness. (My earlier comment was in jest!)

bony-ist woman I ever saw ... if she turned sideways she would indeed disappear ... wish them all the best however and hope she eats something soon . I think they were together like you said for 112 years so the difference is what? and why is this a thread?

and I apologize for my comment, I am a work in progress ... trying to be better ... It just bothers me when I saw her on a talk show once saying I don't have an eating disorder, I just like to stay in shape and not put on extra pounds.. way too many young kids trying to emulate these actresses with disastrous consequences.
