6 fingered musicians ???

Apart from the usual jokes about the allegedly restricted gene pools
of remote rural communities,
are there actually any well known musicians with more than the standard quota
of 5 fingers per hand ?

Would it be a distinct advantage and positive aid to virtuosity
if the hands are healthily proportioned and well functioning ?

Just curious, and wishing I could reach a few extra frets and Keys with my fat stuubby digits..

For what it is worth, Chicago Bluesman the late Hounddog Taylor. It didn't give him any advantage however as he played a wild slide guitar.

Had two thumbs on my right hand when I was born. Removed age 18 months. Have often joked about the guitar possibilities, as I fingerpick. Also considered the benefits of being able to order a six-pack with a handsignal, or having the ability to pick one's nose and masturbate at the same time.
