If'n he gets together with B.M., there's no telling what kind of nonsense they'll get into. : ) Whatever it is, have fun.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Ron. I could raise bail from your friends here--at a buck each--to about $1000. Jus` watch out what kinda trouble you get into.

thank you all for your well wishes. This has been a surprise.
I appreciate the encouragement also... I've been thinking of doing something different musically.. a fusion of jazz, folk and comedy.. maybe call it 'fazz' or 'jolk '...
anyhow I'm off to the wilds of Quebec today to find 'Peace'...

it was great fun... got to play a bit in a welding garage for a benefit
it wasn't heavy metal or anything !! sat around the kitchen table until the wee hours looking at songs and mostly laughing our asses off esp. the Pat Sky stuff...

Wonderful weekend. I understand the benefit collected $1600 for the Ladies Oxillary-Aucksillery-Ocksilliry Association at the hospital. I haven`t laughed that much in many many moons--probably the last time we got together.

Thunder Thieves is a dynamite piece of work. Thanks for leaving it with me, Ron. And the two new ones of yours that I will learn to sing are still running through my head. Jaysus, they`re inspired, well-considered and deeply `spiritual`. IMO, the absolute best writing ever from you.

It must have taken us about thirty-two seconds to pick up where we left off and it took me about that long to realize how much I`ve missed shootin`the breeze with you but mostly missed making music.

Anyway, later . . . .

$1600 is really good....the Ox-hillary must have been happy..

got some trax for Norm transferred in Ottawa yesterday. Now I can free up space on the Korg to record Vidalia and Simple Faith. I'll mail them to you next week with the lyrics. I'll be back soon... Norm asked me to sit in with him at the Cafe on the 30th.
also Willie asked me to do a gig with him in Tyendinaga on the 10th.. Norm's playing there in Aug. as well.. also Tom is pumped about the shows in Sept. with us.. so summer's good...
thanks for the hospitality, come for a visit when you can...Bob is making me a copy of that Pat Sky album... the world needs more characters like him...

I don't know about our faces on cartons... that might curdle the milk
and cheerios would never be the same...
