At last having reached mature years I've found the answer:- Pretend that there are no problems and everything in the garden is rosy. When it is proved that there are problems, blame those under you. For this, you are entitled to a large salary. Am I right or am I just being cynical - your views, please! |

They then pass these on to the workers and first-line supervisors that try to put them into operation. If it works, the upper-levels get fat bonuses. If it doesn't, the mid-managers get the blame and the ax. Regardless, the worker-bees get paid every two weeks unless the scheme is so bad that the company goes belly-up. |
