He is on one of his visits to the UK from Australia. If you are in the area, don't miss this chance to see him. Danny was here recently and to my amazement he's better than ever and Bill and I have always felt he's one of the best. Anywhere. Danny has a terrific grasp of the historical periods and attitudes behind his songs. When he sings a song he pulls you into the time, the place, the situation -- he almost transforms himself into the original character who inspired the song. And he's one of the nicest people anywhere. At Augusta Vocal Week people used to vie for the chance to give him a ride to his next gig. Don't miss this opportunity. |
