California, as you may have heard, is the home of Proposition 13, which severely limits the amount of taxes the state and local governments can collect. As a result, our infrastructure has suffered. The libraries got hit the hardest, I think - so it's hard to find library computer terminals here. But I found one, and I actually can use it for ten minutes. -Joe Offer- |
