It's on an album called Little Bitty Tear: The Nashville Years 1961-1965 (5-CD Box Set) - it's a Bear Family reissue, and costs only $117.52 at oldies.com. I guess I can do without it. -Joe- |

Allmusic.com says TWO CAR GARAGE was written by Lyle Moraine, who also wrote several other songs that Burl Ives recorded: CAN ANGELS FLY OVER THE ROCKIES GALISTEO I FOUND MY BEST FRIEND IN THE DOG POUND MR MAKEUP MAN SOMEONE HANGIN' ROUND YOU ALL THE TIME THIRTY THOUSAND FEET OVER DENVER ...none of which I've ever heard of. Stashed away in some boxes are some cassette tapes I made of Burl Ives and had forgotten. They have on them most of the songs the Bear 5-disc set you mentioned for over 100 dollars has. I could copy them and send them to you if they still make blank cassette tapes and if you would reimberse me for the postage |

One of the 20 tracks is "Two Car Garage". The label is called "Sound Waves" and the reference is SOW 708. Another nice song on it is "The Late Movie" I'll type out the lyrics later if you still need them. |
