Does anyone know of a song by this title, or containing this phrase please?

Yes, as I thought, this is my friend Ron Trueman-Border, Friday Folk Resident and internationally famous singer songwriter

Cheers John - thanks for the link. Did you once sing "Waltzing's for Dreamers" in Sheffield at the Rivelin Folk Club?

I have sung a few times at Rivelin, but never "Waltzing's for Dreamers". Possibly "LIfe on the road", a Paul Jones song, or Dave Paskett's "I Couldn't Take My Eyes Off Her"?

Blimey, thinking about that it seems like another life, perhaps a previous life long lost in the mist of time .... a bit like the repertoire!

Black-eyed Sally is a brilliant song...but R T B has so many great ones. IMHO he has a real gift for songwriting.Paul Pearson is a big fan of his and does a great version of it, too.
