27 Jul 10 - 03:26 PM (#2953360) Subject: sidmouth improvisation workshops From: GUEST,moira(flying cat) Just to let people know that as Roger Watson wont be at Sidmouth, the harmony improvisation workshops that he was scheduled to run on the Thursday and Friday will now be run by Moira Craig and Sarah Morgan. We will be exploring vocal harmony improvisation rather than instrumental and the oportunity could be that if time permits, we might look at particular songs that people bring to the workshops to use as examples. There are some particular songs we will be looking at which lend themselves to particular harmony formats but Watercress O seems like a good idea Richard,if you're coming and you really fancy doing it could you arrange to have some copies of the words available to share around. thanks for all you interest. So, I suppose you could call it quasi-official!! Mind you. Have never managed to get there on the Thursday! |
