Scottish festivals seem to be a bit less organised in the session department. It was a bit like dive in when you can (or get a chance to) Never the less the sessions at in the back room of the Balloch (one of my old haunts 30 years ago) were good quality and a wide variety. Now here's something most people won't believe. Me and our kid went clubbing on Friday night !! All I needed was the Travolta white suit and medallion !!! Desire nightclub had a late party and musicians got in free. P>A> set up but there were also disco lights and trimmings. Me and Ian did a set there....... true but bizzare. |

And no, it was not a maypole. I think it was the same venue which apparently had a vending machine in the Ladies facilities selling things that go "buzz". |

I'll especially take away the memory of Wendy singing "She Moves Through The Fair" in the very noisy "Doghouse" on Saturday afternoon just as the football finished on the big screen. You couldn't hear yourself think to start with, you could have heard a pin drop at the end. Beautiful moment. |
